Charity is the essential part of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid). It is the day with Joy of giving and sharing, especially with those who are less fortunate. Lifeline, along with Humane Touch trust facilitated Lifeline members by providing a month’s ration to 600 families in slums of Bengaluru like Govindpura, D J Halli, Kavalbyrasandra, Dinnur, Shampur, Valmikinagar, Avalahallietc. The distribution was completed successfully 1-2 days prior to Eid. Food packages comprising of flour, rice, sugar, and cooking oil, were distributed.
