The Lifeline Foundation inaugurated its 23rd Interest-Free Microfinance branch and 2nd Mercy Seva Kendra (Citizen Service Centre) on 11th December 2021 in the heart of the city at Kalasipalyam. The inauguration ceremony started at noon and was attended by the newly joined members of the microfinance as well as other well-wishers. The chief guests included the respected President of the Masjid- e- Quba Amjad Sab, Secretary Ajmal Sab, General Secretary of Lifeline Ali Shariff and Manager Md. Musaib. The ceremony began with a prayer followed by speeches of the dignitaries. We are grateful for the Masjid-e-Quba committee for having provided the space free of cost for this purpose.

Musaib briefed the newcomers about Lifeline’s activities and the Mercy Seva Kendra. Mr. Ali Shariff, shed some on the principles and ethics behind the idea of furnishing interest-free loans. The Kalasipalyam branch has started with 50 members. The first 10 interest-free loans of ₹5000 were disbursed during the ceremony. The residents of the locality will have better access to government schemes and provisions along with other online services through the newly launched Mercy Seva Kendra. The newly selected and trained CSC staff were distributed with certificates while honoring the dignitaries. Cheques were handed over by the chief guests to the branch members.

Lifeline opened its 24th microfinance branch at Bhoopsandra on 23rd December 2021. The inauguration ceremony started at noon and was attended by the newly joined members of the microfinance, as well as other well-wishers. The chief guest was the respected trustee of lifeline Mrs. Khamar Sultana and other local leaders were present. The ceremony began with the prayer followed by speeches of the dignitaries. The Bhoopsandra branch has 50 members. 5 interest free loans of Rs 5000 were disbursed during the ceremony.
