As our activities increase, more and more women come to us for funds to setup their businesses. Furthermore, we have a vision of setting up soup kitchens, expanding our scholarship program to increase the number of poor children going to school, and advocating with the government to ensure that the resources available through public provision are being delivered.
All of the above activities require volunteers, employees and funding.
There are so many ways that you can help. Whether you have all the time in the world or only a couple hours a week, we would be happy to welcome you to our ranks in whatever capacity you are able to contribute. Our volunteers currently help manage the branch meetings as well as the organization in the office. But helping does not stop there, our borrowers need skill training, medical aid, blankets, clothes, and other basic amenities that most take for granted

This is a big part of how we keep our loans interest free. The generosity of donors is overwhelming, but we are still a small organization. By donating as you are able, you can help us expand into more slums of Bangalore in order to reach a larger number of women within poverty. The trustees of Lifeline funded this organization on their own, but now we need your help to see the work continued. Please donate, as any amount will be helpful. If you would like to donate directly to an activity please specify in your check or money order one of the following:
General Donation – This will be open for use as Lifeline needs to achieve its goals.
Activity – This includes blanket distribution, skill training, housing initiatives, etc.
Endowment – This is for creating a fund of which we will use only the interest to fund our activity. Ideally an endowment will cover all operational costs as well as helping the branch activities.
Initiatives – Here you can donate for starting a new branch or other new projects in order to holistically cover the needs of the poor.
