June 2019- Remedial classes for SSLC failed students in 2 centres benefiting 47 Students

The Lifeline Foundation Trust, in association with Trillium Public School, R T Nagar and New Miracle High School, YarabNagar, Banashankari 2nd Stage arranged a crash course through a 40 days boot camp at for those who had failed and were giving the supplementary exams of the Karnataka Secondary Education Board. Commenced from 10th May 2019, the crash course ran for 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week and lasted till 20th June 2019. The crash course was free for the students irrespective of the number of subjects (Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science, Kannada and Hindi) they enrolled for coaching. Only Rs 200 was charged as one-time registration fee to ensure commitment. The amount spent by TLF for this was Rs 50,000, which includes Rs 48,000 compensation for 12 teachers in both the schools and Rs 2,000 to print pamphlets to spread awareness. Out of 47 Students, 19 Cleared their SSLC Exam and have successfully got admissions in various PU colleges.
