Category : Health

Another of our endeavours is to ensure good eyesight to children. We conducted an eye camp at MM English School, Tasker Town, Bengaluru on Wednesday, 27th March 2019. This was done in order to create awareness about eye related disorders and also early detection of problems, if any. A total of 140 children were screened out of which 35 were referred for further evaluation. Free medicines was distributed to children with Eye related ailments. 5 Reading Glasses and 3 Bifocal (Order glasses) were given (worth Rs 1800) which were sponsored by Humane Touch Trust. Children were told about good eye care habits.

Towards the end, Mrs Veena, Principal of the school, acknowledged and appreciated The Lifeline Foundation team and Humane Touch with a small token of appreciation for organizing the camp. We thank Dr Zulfiquar and his team from North Care Hospital and all the volunteers for their kind support.
