March 2021 – Lifeline cooked & distributed 63,660 meals in Q1 through three Mercy Kitchens

In response to the lockdown, Lifeline opened 3 Mercy Kitchens in Tilaknagar, Govindpura and Goripalya be . A total of 63,660 meals have been cooked and distributed in 80 days. Food packets were delivered at door step every day to Covid patients and their families. Daily distribution to poor and needy in areas such as Dayanand Slum, Vinobhanagar, Gurappanpalya, Lingarajpuram, Hegdenagar, Belhalli, Saraipalya, Veeranapalya, Thanisandra, Bharitinagar, Nagawara, Goripalya, Padarayanapura, Mominpura etc. A helpline has been opened to provide food packets for the covid patients and their families, Burial grounds, Crematoriums and anyone in need. A total amount of Rs 5.9 lakhs has been spent by Lifeline for this activity. Also, ration for the period June 1st to 15th was sent to us fully by Mercy Mission (MM).
