D J Halli

DSCF0011.JPG

D J Halli is another slum where hundreds of poor women are eager to start small trades to support their families but are unable to do so because of lack of credit. Lifeline began it’s activities here in February 2010 by a group of volunteers who live close by, namely Syed Sardar Ahmad, Ahasan Ali & Eyenine Syeda. The D J Halli branch operates at the Loritta School in D J Halli, every Sunday from 10am to 1pm . The branch currently supports 150 women with their businesses. Like all branches there is a need to expand the services here to reach out to the hundreds of others who are currently unable to provide food for their families yet have the capability to begin a small business.
