For most of us, the idea of winter means cuddling under the blanket for warmth, lying in our comfort zone and sipping coffee, sitting beside the fire. But for those on the streets, with every drop in the temperatures it’s a fight for survival. Every winter, our organization, The Lifeline Foundation Trust runs a Blanket Donation Campaign, where we provide high quality warm blankets to all our beneficiaries and also to the underprivileged living in the open on the streets. We distributed 700 blankets to beneficiaries from Chandra layout, Rahmat Nagar, Chamundi Nagar, Munnireddy palya, Kalasipalyam, Bhoopsandra, Lingarajpuram, Yarab Nagar and destitute families supported by us. All the blankets were sponsored by Feroze’s Estate Agency. The per cost blanket is Rs 250 and Rs 175,000 was donated for 700 blankets.
