Nov 2020 – Lifeline organized it’s 40th Free Health Camp at Nayandahalli

Bengaluru: The Lifeline Foundation in association with Humane Touch organized a free health check-up camp at Global Public School, Nayandahalli, in West Bengaluru on Sunday, 29th November 2020. The Camp was conducted with the support and co-operation of the school team.

Awareness about the camp was created by our local Volunteer Sr Nabeela and her team by distributing camp tokens and making announcements in the neighboring mosques.

The team of North Care Medical Centre, R T Nagar had volunteered their staff to run the camp. The camp registration started at 10 30 am and ended at 2 pm. The registration process was conducted by the young volunteers of Mercy Mission.

 The patients were checked by the optometrist and then by Dr. Syed Zulfiquar and his medical team. In this camp, patients were examined for common eye problems, and were provided free medicines, Eye drops and Spectacles for Free.  A total of 105 patients were screened at the camp. 89 Spectacles were provided and sponsored by the Lifeline Trust. 10 Patients identified for cataract surgery during the camp.

We thank Mercy Booth west zone for screening Bp, SPo2, Temperature and Diabetic tests to all the patients who attended the camp. We also thank Dr. Husna who provided consultations for BP, diabetes and other illness by giving them free medicines. Our sincere thanks to all volunteers for their efforts to make this a successful Camp.
