Lifeline team of doctors and volunteers meets patients/ attenders every Sunday morning at BET branch and assesses requests for medical aid. Through this way, Lifeline helps the poor who face high costs of healthcare and provides support to those who cannot afford it. Through its Lifeline Health Program, it has provided Rs 4.95 lakh as medical aid to 38 cases in Q3 of 21-22. Applications are scrutinised by the Lifeline team. Guidance is given to reduce cost and secure the right treatment. On checking the validity of treatment and costs, funds are raised for approved cases. Payments are made directly to the hospital / pharmacy.
