Providing regular meals in underserved communities to reduce financial burden in the short term is the main motto of this initiative and empowering them to become free from hunger is the long-term objective. Nourishing and good quality food at the start of the day will also help reduce malnutrition and increase productivity. Lifeline is one among the growing network of credible NGOs involved in this initiative. 

Everyday Lifeline team picks up nutritious meals at the Zomato partner kitchen in Wilson Garden at 7 am, and distributes it to those who have lost employment, lost earning members of the household and pushed below poverty line. In Q3, the Lifeline team has picked a total 6,750 kgs (75 kg per day) and distributed a total of 40,500 meals (~450 meals each day). More than 3,000 families have been benefited and Lifeline has spent a total of Rs 48,000 towards fuel, cleaning and volunteer reimbursement towards this initiative.
