In 2024–2025, Lifeline Foundation expanded its commitment to community healthcare by providing both curative medical assistance and preventive health services to vulnerable populations.
During the year, 48 medical camps were organized across urban slum communities in Bengaluru, benefiting 2,987 patients. These camps provided essential healthcare services including general medical consultations, diagnostic tests, eye examinations, and women’s health support.
The camps served:
-
2,033 patients through general health consultations
-
810 patients through eye care screenings
-
144 women through specialized OBG consultations
These initiatives ensured that individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds could access medical care without facing financial or logistical barriers.
In addition to preventive camps, Lifeline also provided direct financial assistance to patients requiring medical treatment. During the year, 377 patients received support for hospital bills and medical expenses, ensuring timely access to life-saving treatments.
The organization’s total healthcare expenditure during the year reached ₹60.9 lakh, representing the highest annual healthcare investment in its history.
Through volunteer support, partnerships with hospitals, and community outreach, Lifeline continues to bridge the healthcare gap for underserved populations and promote healthier communities.
