The Lifeline Foundation, for the first time organized community Iftars in 5 different locations of Bengaluru. The main objective of this initiative was to engage with & spread Love, affection and mutual trust across communities during this holy month. We gathered and thanked people associated with Lifeline, local government staff and key people from all faiths in the local areas. Guest speakers addressed the gathering emphasizing the message of universal brotherhood from the Holy Quran, and spoke on building unity and communal harmony in society. The guests appreciated the events, especially liking that the key speech was made in Kannada so that they could understand it better. Lifeline looks forward to hosting more such events throughout the year to build bonds of love and mutual understanding, in this increasingly polarizing society.
