Laptops on Loan scheme to foster skill development and self-employment launched
Category : Education

The Lifeline Foundation has launched an innovative Interest-Free Laptop Loan Scheme to promote entrepreneurship, education, and employable skills among underprivileged individuals. This scheme provides laptops to students, self-employed entrepreneurs, and those seeking livelihoods, with incomes below the poverty line. The laptops are offered on a loan basis, allowing recipients to repay in affordable monthly installments. The aim is to provide individuals with their own laptops, enabling them to learn, acquire new skills, and improve job prospects. In the first quarter alone, Lifeline Foundation has distributed four laptops, making a significant impact. To scale this initiative, the foundation seeks donations ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per laptop. Join Lifeline Foundation in empowering individuals and creating a brighter future through education and technology.
