Bengaluru: COVID 19 is crisis on humanity, especially on underprivileged section of the society. To prevent the spread of virus to a larger section of the society the Govt. of India announced 21 days lockdown on 24th March 2020. As updated earlier, The Lifeline Foundation has decided to provide dry rations to the daily wagers, extremely poor and underprivileged section of the society. It started a campaign “Let us give DIGNITY to the VULNERABLE during the COVID19 Crisis” in order to raise funds and distribute food kits to the needy.

We have received tremendous support from donors and in the first four days of the lockdown itself, Lifeline has distributed 755 Food kits in nine slums on the city and paid Rs 9 lakhs to the vendors. The kit comprises of food grains, oil, rice and other essentials, each kit costs around 1210 INR.

1. 70 ration kits at Tilak Nagar.
2. 90 ration kits at Gurappan Palya.
3. 100 ration kits at Sarai Palya.
4. 80 ration kits at Hegde Nagar.
5. 65 kits ration kits at Yaseen Nagar

Godindpura

26th March 2020

6. 150 ration kits at Govindpura
7. 40 ration kits at Yarabnagar. (Banashankari)

  28th March 2020

  1. 80 ration kits at Kaval Byrasandra 
  2. 75 ration kits at Rahmat Nagar
